In addition to massage therapy, I also offer therapeutic yoga instruction. Among some of yoga’s many benefits are stress reduction, improved flexibility, an improved sense of self, pain reduction, better quality of sleep, and peace of mind.

Specialized Training:

RYT500 ~ I am a 500 hour Registered Yoga Teacher (and have previously received RYT200 certification).

Spectrum Yoga Therapy classes ~ Individual or small group instruction is available for individuals on the autistic spectrum & their caregivers; please call for more information.

Adaptive Yoga ~ Redefines the fundamental nature of ability & disability by utilizing a mind-body approach in working with individuals with disability.

Every individual is unique, with their own strengths & limitations–private yoga instruction is a great way to address individual needs & concerns in a safe, professional environment. You may want to consider a private yoga session if you:

Journey with me each week as we explore the relationships between alignment, breath, and posture and the impact those things have on your overall health and well-being. Centering Yoga is based on the work of Scott Anderson and “…comes from the idea that our body functions best when we’re in alignment with the forces that surround us. For example, understanding how gravity flows through our bones will help our posture far more than trying to fight it.”

Come nurture, nourish, and rejuvenate your body, mind, spirit, and heart in a wonderfully supportive setting with like-minded individuals as you allow your body to unwind in order to function at its best! Classes are structured to be both gentle and challenging, and adaptations are given for beginning to intermediate students. Each class begins with a brief guided meditation, followed up by core-strengthening work, yoga asana (poses), and concludes with guided relaxation.

This Hatha yoga series is geared toward beginner/intermediate students, but all levels are welcome.
